Recently dothecrawl.com was out on the town in #Sacramento and we found the themed bar, Coin-Op Game Room and we just had to share it with you crawlers.
Strolling down the road we were greeted with a normal looking sign on the street level but turned in to discover a couple flights of stairs down to the patio/entry area (don’t worry there IS an elevator).
Even before you are inside, the theming begins. There are game related posters, neon signs, drawings and paintings throughout. Even the restrooms walls are covered in images.
They are very popular because it was early on a Saturday when we stopped in, around 6 pm, and it was already hopping. Despite it being busy we received very prompt and friendly service.
The drinks were good, we tried the pizza it was decent not the best, and the prices were definitely reasonable. Despite the med-large space it still had a small-bar feel.
As far as the games, there were a variety of games including pinball, hoops, shooters, and more. We can’t wait to regress back to the simpler time of pizza places with arcades of our youth and visit this place again.
